Dermot O'Leary

Dermot O’Leary is the Executive Vice President North America and General Manager Substation Solutions. In this position, Mr. O’Leary is responsible for all North American operations for BPL Global and general management of the global Substation Solutions  business.

Prior to joining BPL Global, Mr. O’Leary was the Vice President of Sales for Serveron before it was acquired by BPL Global. At that point, Serveron had sold over 1000 transformer on-line DGA systems throughout the world.

Mr. O’Leary has over 27 years experience in sales, marketing and general management in the electric utility industry. He has experience in distribution, transmission and generation product and service businesses in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Prior to joining Serveron, Mr. O’Leary was VP of Sales for SchlumbergerSema responsible for sales of the company’s newly formed IT Solutions North American group. Before moving to Portland, he was General Manager of Cellnet, the world’s leading fixed network AMI service provider.

Mr. O’Leary held a number of international executive positions in his 24 years at Schlumberger including, Managing Director of Schlumberger RMS UK and Southern Africa, VP of Worldwide Business Segments, General Manager of Sub Saharan Africa for Schlumberger Measurement and Systems, and VP of Sales for Schlumberger Electricity North America.

Mr. O’Leary holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toronto.
