BPL Global^® offers a comprehensive suite of smart grid solutions. We take a holistic software centric view of bringing intelligent grid applications to our customers. Core to this offering is the enabling technologies of our enterprise class Power SG^® Foundation. The Power SG Foundation provides platform services such as user security management, data repository & reporting, messaging and a common user interface framework. The platform is Java-based and compatible with most hosting platforms and operating systems. Its Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design ensures scalability and fault tolerance. By connecting smart grid solutions across our platform we break down the barriers in managing the network intelligently between the customer (demand side) and the grid (supply side). It opens up the option to connect complementary applications. For example, our Rapid Fault Locator application can share load information with our Demand Management (DM) solution to fine tune the Demand Management program.
